FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN, May 4, 2026
ARX QM Holdings, Inc. (“ARX”), the Ann Arbor-based enterprise AI infrastructure company building the AI gateway for multi-agent enterprise, today announced the close of its first outside investor commitment. At the principal’s request, both the investor’s identity and the size of the commitment remain undisclosed.
The moment is, by every measure that can be reached without numbers, foundational. It is the beginning of the capital phase of an enterprise that has, until this commitment, been built almost entirely from the founder’s own conviction, the founding team’s labor, and the patient regard of advisors and counsel. With this first investor on the cap table, ARX moves from a company that someone is building into a company that someone, beyond the building, has chosen to back; and in the long history of small enterprises that have gone on to do consequential things, the first investor is the person without whom the rest of the story does not begin.
The Thesis
ARX holds that the arrival of machine intelligence is not a paradigm shift but a phase shift in the form of knowledge itself, the fifth such shift in the long arc that runs from oral tradition through the written word, the printing press, the digital, and now into knowledge that is generated, governed, and composed by systems whose internal states no human will ever read in full. That conviction has a practical consequence. The layer enterprises will most need is the layer not yet built: a single gateway through which every model call passes and every agent’s behavior is metered, governed, routed, remembered, coordinated, and made tradable.
ARX is building that gateway. Six capabilities, namely Meter, Comply, Memory, Router, Coordinate, and Exchange, compose into a single runtime with shared state. The wedge is Meter, which decomposes the AI line on the enterprise cloud bill into per-agent, per-team, per-model, and per-call attribution from the first request, addressing a pain that the office of the CFO has already named and is, in many cases, already trying to solve by hand. From that wedge the same telemetry hardens into audit evidence mapped to the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and SOC 2; the same gateway routes each call to the cheapest sufficient model under a Quality Floor; the same memory survives provider upgrades and model swaps; the same coordination layer holds state across LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, and the OpenAI SDK; and the same Exchange becomes the marketplace through which agents and MCP servers are bought, sold, and governed under one regime, with eighty-five percent of marketplace transactions returning to the customer.
On the First Investor
“A first investor enters the company’s history at a position no later investor can occupy. They are the first witness to the company’s existence as a thing worth backing, and that witness sits inside every subsequent line of code, every subsequent contract, and every subsequent promise we make. We are honored in a measure the form of a press release does not contain, and grateful in a register the form of a press release was never built to express.”
Sukh Sidhu, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, ARX QM Holdings, Inc.
Use of Proceeds
Proceeds from the commitment will support the company’s ongoing infrastructure rebuild on Microsoft Azure, continued prosecution of its patent portfolio, advancement of active enterprise pilot conversations in financial services, federal certification work toward CMMC Level 2 and FIPS 140-3, and the completion of the company’s pre-seed round, which is targeted at $6 million with an anchor commitment of $2 million or greater and a first close planned for the third quarter of 2026.
Programs and Team
ARX is a member of NVIDIA Inception, Lambda Labs, Cloudflare for Startups, and Ann Arbor SPARK. The founding team comprises Sukh Sidhu (Founder and Chief Executive Officer), Sanford Diday (Chief Strategy Officer), Clark Alexander, Ph.D. (Chief Science Officer), and Erin Leary, Ph.D. (Head of Design and Social Research).

The company holds that the arrival of machine intelligence is the fifth phase shift in the form of knowledge itself, and that the infrastructure of that shift is yet to be built.
